No. Satis Omnibus is trading software that executes a systematic strategy on your behalf. We are not financial advisors and do not provide personalised investment advice. You are responsible for your own trading decisions and risk management.
Never. Your money stays in your broker account at all times. We connect via your broker's official API to place trades. We never have access to withdraw or transfer your funds.
Your stop-loss is a level the platform monitors continuously — it is not a separate order resting at your broker. When price breaches the level, the engine sends a market order to close the position. Two honest consequences: protection depends on the platform running and connected to your broker, and on a fast move or price gap the actual fill can be worse than the stop level. You can also flatten everything yourself at any time with the one-tap kill switch.
Your broker API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest and decrypted server-side only to place your trades. The encryption key is a server-held secret kept in our environment configuration — never sent to your browser or stored alongside the keys. The most important protection is the keys themselves: you grant trade-only access with no withdrawal or transfer rights, so funds can never be moved off your account, and you can revoke access at any time from your broker.
